This program receives and processes stock market
data. It receives and processes signals from a
separate server and send futures trading orders
to brokers via RSS feeds. It allows the users
to subscribe to a large number of signals and
create portfolios from them.
It presents the market data in a very presentable
format; in graphs, charts and dashboards.
State of the art technologies like socket programming,
remote communication, XML/RSS feeds and distributed
architecture were used. |

It
was a database intensive application
for a company named Ground Transportation
Services. They deal primarily with
offering transportation services in
Eastern region. They had a legacy
system using MS Access to keep track
of their vehicles, insurances, license
plates, mileage etc… Several
departments were using the same application
from their desktop. |

As being developed in MS Access, it didn't
support multi user very capability very
well.
We redesigned the application
in client server architecture using .Net
platform. It offered many more features,
integrated all the departments and was much
more reliable. We also transferred the old
database to the new one and helped migrating
all other information.

It displays live scores and other game information
(weather, injuries etc…) on your desktop.
It was a huge application we developed using
JAVA and Oracle.
We used XML to obtain live
feeds from different sources. We also had
written a spider using Perl that used to
scrape pages of several websites to pull
out the required information. All the data
were stored in a central database and then
formatted and displayed on GUI.
Same application was also available online.

We worked on a project for recognizing handwriting
of a person. It's a Windows application
that you can run from your desktop.
It takes scanned handwriting
in the form of image or PDF, processes it
and recognizes the characters. It reads
out the exact characters. Along with that,
it also finds out the number of characters,
words, lines, shape of characters etc….

agreement with the client.
